The treatment process for the wastewater treatment plant is a modified Sequencing Batch Reactor and the components were procured from the supplier prior to construction. The large pumps, power generator, and electrical equipment were also pre-purchased.
This project came as a result of a massive expansion of industrial lands serviced by the East Rocky View Regional Utilities Network. This project includes process equipment selection to meet the treatment demands from industrial and residential serviced lands in the 700 km2 area of East Rocky View, as well as all site design, layout, structural, mechanical, electrical and controls engineering.
