We were hired by the design team and the Canadian Museum of Nature as Code consultants for the expansion and complete redevelopment of this national heritage building in Ottawa.

The project included the complete redevelopment of the central atrium and a new glass lantern feature, as well as redevelopment of all galleries and public spaces and the complete replacement and upgrading of all systems.
The project allowed the integration of modern fire protection and life safety features in conjunction with seismic upgrades, environmental controls and new support spaces.
