One phase of the site improvements was the development of a truck access road directly into the log yard from the municipal road along the east side of the property. Included was the scale relocation; new scale control building; yard office; trailer hoist; tarping station; wrapping station; forestry equipment yard and warehouse; area lighting and log storage decks. A later phase was the development of log storage for 250,000 m3 of logs. The second element was the roller compacted concrete surfacing of the green lumber yard.
