Morrison Hershfield undertook the following services:
- Conducted an assessment of the existing traffic conditions on the site including a reconnaissance and inventory of the University’s surrounding roadway system
- Took digital photographs of volume counts, reviewed accident statistics that included reviewing of existing parking arrangements
- Conducted highway capacity analyses to evaluate performance at key intersections on the site
- Estimated trip generations and distributions based on the future planning of the expanded campus
Innovative ideas of development and the creation of a University campus village focused on activities within the campus environment that lead reduction of vehicle trips, thus minimizing the need for extensive roadway improvements and widening.
Morrison Hershfield worked with a team of professionals including planners, architects, and real estate consultants to come up with an integrated solution that was most beneficial to the University.
