Morrison Hershfield completed the detailed design of the the new system, with a total length of 3000m, was comprised of three elements: pipe, ditching and two 2-acre stormwater detention ponds. Due to the limited clearances with existing utilities and infrastructure, the piping system was designed to accommodate the gradient restrictions while providing the required capacities and long-term maintainability. This was accomplished with the use of round and arch aluminized CMP pipe, ranging in size from 750 mm to 1790 X 1360 arch.
