Our role entailed providing technical support to Petro-Canada Oil Sands Inc (PCOSI).  This included establishing the functional program requirements for the various buildings, and assisting in the preparation of a request for proposal so that a design-build contractor(s) can be selected for implementation of the work.

As the project progresses we will provide technical reviews during the design phase and on-site construction management services during the construction phase.

In addition to this assignment, Morrison Hershfield worked closely with PCOSI to help them establish the requirements and costs for providing temporary facilities for their operations group, since PCOSI will need these facilities on site before the permanent buildings are ready for occupancy. This has included identifying and assessing various options for providing these temporary buildings.
