As the prime engineering consultant,  Morrison Hershfield is the prime engineering consultant firm responsible for the design of the infrastructure including the design of the road and storm water network. The work will include design and supervision of earth moving, road construction, production of required storm drainage and final inspections.

Tasks for this project include:

• Provide all necessary base mapping (topographic and legal) including road construction plans in electronic format
• Obtain all background information including environmental, geotechnical, historical resources, engineering, transportation, legal survey and architectural
• Consult with Parkland County and the Summer Village of Spring Lake
• Site grading
• Preliminary design and layout of access roads
• Production of tender, tender evaluation, construction inspection and resident engineering
• Cost and quality control

Morrison Hershfield met the client’s objectives by coordinating, preparing and organizing the information to be presented, and ultimately obtaining approval for re-designation of the parcel of land.  The firm's expertise in road design, site grading and storm water design made us an obvious choice for this project.
