Morrison Hershfield was retained to supervise the third phase of a multi-million dollar renovation program at the Shaganappi Point Golf Course in southwest Calgary AB.
The renovations were spurned by the discovery of high mercury content soils in golf course greens across North America.  As part of the removal and entombment of these contaminated soils, the City of Calgary, Parks and Recreation Department chose to upgrade the golf course by revising the course layout, adding new storm ponds, water features and a larger clubhouse.
