Ongoing water supply and quality concerns at the Ainsworth Lumber Grand Prairie, Alberta OSB Mill were resolved through the construction of a new water supply system from a lake three kilometres away.

With environmental approvals in place, Morrison Hershfield provided the conceptual and detailed design, tendered, managed and co-ordinated the construction, and provided record documentation and operating manuals. The quality of water from the new source has resolved corrosion issues and daily water trucking costs have been eliminated.
