The project includes the construction of new detachments, regional headquarters and forensic identification units to better support the demands of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) operations across Ontario. The expected construction cost is between $100M to $150M. The new facilities are to be low to mid-rise structures, developed as free standing centers with a combination of brick and metal cladding systems. The designs incorporate CPTED (Crime Prevention through Environmental Design.)
