Morrison Hershfield was engaged to provide structural, civil, and electrical engineering services for a 1.35 MW wind turbine located in British Columbia.

The assignment includes structural design of the 65 m tower itself, along with the reinforced concrete foundation using post-tensioned rock anchors. Grading design for the mountaintop site reflects use of 160 ton and 500 ton cranes for erecting the turbine, as well as a helicopter to deliver the blades.
