Montere is a 61-unit community on a hillside overlooking serene Lake Sammamish. Morrison Hershfield worked with homeowners to resolve structural deficiencies while also improving other exterior aspects of the residences.
We worked closely with the homeowners association to develop a scope of work that resolved structural deficiencies, improved the water resistance of wall and window systems, and met sound reduction and aesthetic concerns of the owners.  The scope of work included roof improvements, solutions to complex drainage issues, and removal and installation of improved siding, window, and deck surfaces.  The high-quality material selections resulted in improved life-cycle projections.  Structural and life-cycle improvements gave homeowners a sense of ease that the long-term performance of their buildings was secure.  Owners provided positive feedback regarding the improved appearance, reduced noise, and increased energy efficiency of their homes.
