The project included an analysis of different conservation approaches, strategies and policies, improvement of management procedures, and the urban forests economic and environmental benefits based on comprehensive expert evaluation and expertise.

The zoning and management process involved a comparative multi-characteristic assessment of natural and cultural forest within a certain socio-economic context.  Our team worked to find a balance in the diversity of and certain contravention between the objectives required, taking into consideration numerous factors, criteria and approaches in a single decision.   Most important of these included: conservation and cultural value of the area, recreation resources and their utilization opportunities, and the socio-economic environment.
