Fourteen Mile Creek Fisheries Act Monitoring
Fourteen Mile Creek Fisheries Act Monitoring Morrison Hershfield
Our environmental scientists routinely monitor conditions of regulatory approvals pertaining to aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems that have been approved by authorities including the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans and local conservation authorities to assess and document the effectiveness of compensation and/or mitigation measures.
For the Fourteen Mile Creek Fisheries Act monitoring project, our aquatic scientists conducted a three year post construction monitoring program on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation Ontario.  We assessed the effectiveness of fisheries compensation and mitigation measures designed to improve the habitat for Redside Dace, a provincially listed Endangered Species.
