We designed a full coverage wet pipe fire sprinkler system to meet the unique requirements of the armory structure. The fire sprinkler design was hydraulically evaluated with a three dimensional computer program to ensure optimal coverage and cost efficient design. We applied our experience in fire alarms, fire sprinkler systems plus the applicable codes & standards to provide the Department of National Defense with professional drawings and recommendations enabling the project to be completed in a timely manner.   

Our role included:

• Providing a detailed initial site visit to identify any unusual circumstances and determine the most advantageous design for the building
• Providing a comprehensive design and specifications for the upgraded fire alarm system detailing locations of all devices and appropriate interlocks
• Designing a full coverage wet pipe fire sprinkler system along with specifications to meet the unique requirements of the armory structure.  The fire sprinkler design was hydraulically evaluated with a three dimensional computer program to ensure optimal coverage and cost efficient design.
• Participating in the flow testing of local hydrants to determine available hydraulic flow and pressure from the municipal water system
