Devon Industrial Subdivision Morrison Hershfield
At the request of the Alberta Housing Corporation, Morrison Hershfield prepared a feasibility study, cost estimate and subdivision plan for a 160-acre industrial subdivision.  Upon completion of the study, the client engaged our firm to proceed with engineering design and detailed working drawings for on-site and off-site utilities to complete stage 1 of the subdivision.  Off-site services included Highway 60 intersection design, water supply main, retention pond, sewage lift station and force main.

Morrison Hershfield provided engineering design, field layout and construction supervision services for this project work, including:

  • Asphaltic concrete pavement
  • Curb and gutter
  • Storm sewers
  • Parking areas
  • Runoff drainage

The project resulted in a significant expansion to the industrial area of the Town of Devon.
