First a waste audit was prepared and completed to achieve a clear and precise understanding of the project.  Based on the information gathered, a work plan was created to assist in achieving waste reduction goals.

The waste audit and work plan identified existing problem areas, identified new opportunities for recycling, assisted in diverting recyclable materials from the waste stream and decreased overall waste management costs.  Legislative requirements were fulfilled.
