Champlain Bridge
Morrison Hershfield Champlain Bridge
Champlain Bridge was designed in 1928 and built in 1929.  The vehicular bridge serves as a boundary between the Region of Durham and the County of Simcoe ON, and as a result of which has shared jurisdiction.

This project involved the rehabilitation of the Champlain Bridge and reconstruction and grading of Shore Line Road/ Regional Road 47 at Ramara Road 47.

This project required us to obtain approvals under the Fisheries Act and the Navigable Waters Protection Act, as well as from the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority for required work within a floodplain.
