Morrison Hershfield conducted assessments of four CIBC branches in Alberta. For each of the buildings, Morrison Hershfield conducted visual and physical reviews associated with building envelope elements. The numerous elements were visually reviewed in order to determine current condition, anticipated lifespan, and cost for future repairs within the defined study period. Additionally, for each branch, Morrison Hershfield conducted test openings in order to review for possible moisture related damage and mold growth. Moisture probe tests were conducted in each opening in order to determine if the envelope is performing in terms of water penetration.
