Boiler Replacement for Government Building
Morrison Hershfield Boiler Replacement for Fort McMurray Provincial Building
An aging government building was in need of upgrading.  The heating source for the facility was designed as steam which was used to produce hot water and hot glycol through heat exchangers.

Working with the client, it was decided that the boilers needed replacement due to their age.  The decision was also made to convert the system to hot water.

New hot water boilers were installed and the piping was re-configured to a primary/secondary system.  A dedicated steam humidification boiler was installed to supply the existing humidifiers.  The overall project was constructed over two phases, and required mechanical, electrical and structural engineering.
