Morrison Hershfield was responsible for the high temperature hot water, chilled water, electricity and telecommunications components of the utilities master plan, specifically projecting consumption for electricity, high temperature hot water and chilled water; evaluating various cogeneration and central utilities plant options, including concept designs and cost estimates; evaluation of alternative electrical distribution system options. Conceptual layouts and corridors were identified and protected.
Morrison Hershfield was also actively involved throughout the implementation of the campus electrical distribution system.
In 2007, Morrison Hershfield worked with the GTAA to update the campus-wide electrical system portions of the Utilities Master Plan, which now addresses all utility needs to full build-out of the airport.
