To serve the growing water demand of the developing communities along the NW region of Calgary AB, the City decided to extend the 900mm water feeder main along 60
th
Street by 5.4 km.

Morrison Hershfield was retained to design the feeder main. This assignment included large isolation valve chambers, air release valves and drain valves.
Assistance was also provided to the Ci
ty of Calgary in the procurement of the pipe and fittings.
