Depth of Knowledge of LEED Systems

We have detailed knowledge of the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) and the various LEED systems including that of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).  We have staff on the Board of Directors of the CaGBC, and who sit on the LEED Canada Steering Committee (Co-Chair), on all three LEED Canada Technical Advisory Groups, and are in leading positions in several CaGBC chapters.

Experience and Understanding

We are one of three firms employed since 2004 by the CaGBC to undertake LEED NC, CI, CS and EBOM assessments and credit interpretation rulings and have worked on over 200 assessments to date.  This means that we have developed strong relationships with those at the CaGBC who administer LEED Canada, and we understand better than most the intents and hidden flexibilities that exist within LEED.

Morrison Hershfield is a multidisciplinary engineering firm with a breadth of knowledge.
