ABSTRACT

EASE is the acronym for External Air Systems Elements, an innovative type of air barrier system. The EASE air barrier consists of a water vapour permeable membrane (TYVEKÔ) sandwiched, for structural support, between two layers of fibre board.

The objective of this research project, commissioned by CMHC, was to analyze data supplied by CMHC and, based on the data, to draw conclusions about the performance of the EASE system.
