Page Content Peter Adams is Conference Chair and a Speaker. The focus of this session is on how most of our buildings would be of little use without the ability to control their indoor environment. There is a one-to-one relationship between building envelope and mechanical system that deserves attention from the very start of the design stage, whether it is a new building or retrofit. The presentation will introduce this relationship, and discuss where the risks are in terms of how a building mechanical system and envelope need to work in harmony to achieve long term performance.
