The Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre is a 300-bed, 5-storey, 60,000 square metre acute care hospital, providing enhanced and specialized health services to more than 330,000 residents in the Fraser Valley Region - the first such health care facility to be built in British Columbia in three decades. Delivered under an alternative procurement method — a Public Private Partnership — this session provides a unique perspective by the D-B team Project Architect /LEED AP and the builder’s M&E coordinator, where attendees will learn about designing and building a LEED Canada-NC Gold health care facility under a fast-track design-build contract.
