This seminar provides an excellent opportunity to review the ULC fire alarm inspection, testing and verification standards and learn hands on how to inspect and test selected equipment. It will be held in Seneca College's state of the art fire alarm laboratory. Subjects to be reviewed include:
- CAN/ULC-S536, "Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems", 2004 Edition
- CAN/ULC-S537, "Verification of Fire Alarm Systems", 2004 Edition
- Hands on testing of a smoke detector, heat detector, fire alarm batteries and how to obtain accurate sound pressure levels from audible signals using the latest equipment
