Randy Pickle, P.Eng., FCSCE, FEC, was elected President of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) at its 2011 Annual General Meeting on June 16, 2011 in Ottawa. CSCE is a national, not-for-profit, learned society dedicated to providing civil engineers with opportunities to increase their professional development through continuing education, networking, advocacy and publications. Randy previously held numerous positions within CSCE at the local, regional and national levels, including that of President-Elect during the 2010 term.
At Morrison Hershfield, Randy is an Associate and Senior Project Manager with the Municipal Infrastructure Group. He provides numerous cities and towns in the Greater Toronto area with consulting engineering services to improve aging municipal infrastructure. Randy graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1978 with a civil engineering degree.
Randy is well known for giving back to the community. In addition to his new CSCE role, he is an active Director and Past-Chair of the Lake Ontario Chapter of Professional Engineers Ontario, Director and Past-President of Baseball Ontario, and Chair of the Durham Community Foundation.
