On May 26 2011, Pierre Gallant, B.Arch., MAIBC, AAA, FRAIC, Vice President and Senior Principal, was elected to Fellowship in the College of Fellows of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. This achievement was given in recognition of Pierre’s pursuit of excellence and contributions to the architectural profession.
With over 30 years of experience, Pierre has been involved in building designs from concept to details throughout the construction process. His design work includes new commercial, institutional and residential complexes as well as major building retrofits for the control of air and water leakage.
Pierre is well known for his numerous contributions to the profession. His past and present roles include that of President of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC) and active membership with the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, AIBC Practice Standard Consultation Service Committee, AIBC Professional Development Board, Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC), Urban Development Institute (UDI) and various committees and task forces of the Vancouver Board of Trade.
Pierre has also contributed a number of articles for industry publications and often makes presentations on matters relating to the design and construction industry.
