Pierre E. Gallant, MAIBC, MRAIC, has been elected President of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC).  AIBC is a regulatory body ensuring that highly qualified professional architectural services are available in the province.  The Institute represents approximately 1500 architects.

Pierre is a Senior Principal in Morrison Hershfield’s Vancouver office.  He is well known for his expertise in building design.  Over the years he has actively volunteered with AIBC in a variety of roles, including council member, treasurer, and member of the Practice Standard Consultation Service Committee and Professional Development Board.  Pierre has contributed a number of articles for industry applications and often makes presentations on matters relating to the design and construction industry.
