Morrison Hershfield has been providing engineering consultant services in the Yukon Territory and across the Far North for over 30 years. A new office has recently opened in Whitehorse YK to better serve our clients in the energy, mining and public infrastructure sectors. The main focus of the office will be on sustainability services with Lesley Cabott, MA, as Community Sustainability Practice Leader, which will bring together our technical expertise in environmental planning and engineering, energy, municipal infrastructure and transportation.
Lesley brings over 20 years of experience working with communities, governments, first nations, businesses and non-governmental organizations throughout Yukon and Northern Canada. Her innovative and award-winning work in public consultation, sustainability strategy development and climate change adaptation planning has been recognized by the Planning Institute of British Columbia, Association of Yukon Communities, The Conference Board of Canada and The National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy.
This expansion supports Morrison Hershfield’s vision, to be the first call for engineering solutions that make a difference.
