Morrison Hershfield is offering a $5,000 educational scholarship through the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) to support the development of future Canadian transportation professionals and leaders. The scholarship is offered to promising undergraduates and post-graduates within the structural engineering field, with a special interest in bridges and transportation related structures.
The scholarship contributes to the safety, security, efficiency and effectiveness of transportation structures, as well as to their environmental and financial sustainability.
Morrison Hershfield’s structural expertise dates back to 1946 when the firm was founded. The Company has a very well developed transportation structures presence; a recent example project is the innovative Aesthetic Guidelines for Bridges for the Ministry of Transportation Ontario.
