April 13, 2007

Morrison Hershfield Limited is pleased to announce that it has joined forces with Mitchell, Pound & Braddock (MPB) and Draycott Environmental Inc. (DEI) effective immediately.

“The mergers further strengthen our core infrastructure services. Our water and wastewater market reach is extended to Eastern Canada and we can offer clients a broader range of environmental consulting,” says Morrison Hershfield CEO Ron Wilson, P.Eng. “Our combined staff of 600 gives us exceptional technical depth and increased capacity with which to serve clients.”

Partners from the three professional service firms have worked together in the past and a mutual trust had already been established between them. MPB’s Senior Vice President Geoffrey Pound, P.Eng. and DEI President Paul Draycott explain why they joined forces with Morrison Hershfield: “We like the people. The culture is a great fit and the technical know-how is strong. It’s a winning formula for our clients. Clients are our real beneficiaries here with our intent to significantly broaden our services.”

MPB is active in municipal and transportation engineering, stormwater management and land development services.

The scientific and technical expertise of DEI provides wide ranging capability to undertake environmental projects such as assessments, impacts and planning studies, analysis, mitigation, remediation, and land-use development and re-development.
