Jim has been recognized as a Life Member in recognition of his past service in Nova Scotia.
Jim comments, “This is another honour about which I was very pleased to get, to accompany my Fellow of Engineers Canada selection two years ago. It is always gratifying to be recognized by your peers.” His volunteer activities include serving as President, Vice President and Council Member with Engineers Nova Scotia.
Jim has over 40 years of experience in all phases of transportation engineering, municipal infrastructure engineering and land development. Current and past projects include the development of the Ottawa Light Rail Transit system, detailed design for the first modern roundabout on an Ontario highway, and main street rehabilitation in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia.
