Since 1970, Earth Day has been held around the world as an annual event for people to celebrate the earth and renew their commitment to building a safer, healthier and cleaner world for all of us.
One of the ways Morrison Hershfield is celebrating is through the release of our new Environmental and Sustainability Policy. As an engineering and management firm, we have an extraordinary opportunity to have a significant and positive impact on the environment. We have the knowledge, skill and ability to make a difference. It is our intention that this policy set in place lasting practices that will ensure a better environment for all.
The new policy has been developed by the Morrison Hershfield Green Team, composed of leaders in sustainability, and approved by our Board of Directors. We provide multidisciplinary sustainable solutions related to buildings, transportation, water, land, energy and carbon.
