A four tier classification system for data center resilience was developed in the early 1990’s by the Uptime Institute™.  The system has become one of the standards for data center owners in clearly differentiating between classes of mission critical facilities.  It addresses the functionality and availability of data centers and similar technology projects.  Once the tier goals and objectives are specified, accredited designers like Titel are able to reduce design time through properly applying tier concepts to deliver on-time, on-budget and Tier Certified projects. 

Titel’s accreditation is a result of his robust experience, intensive study and passing an examination.  He has close to 30 years of consulting experience, specializing in electrical systems for mission critical facilities.  His projects include critical power upgrades at various government facilities, centers for emergency services, Internet data centers for telecommunications clients and LAN rooms for banks.
