The Applied Science of Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC) is an association for technology professionals in the fields of engineering, architecture and fourteen other applied science disciplines. At their Awards and Recognition Ceremony on November 3, 2007, Morrison Hershfield was honoured to receive the Employer Award for Career Enhancement and Success of Women as Technology Professionals.

The award is given to recognize and honour an employer for creating a work environment that accommodates the career success of women in applied sciences. Morrison Hershfield has established practices which facilitate the full participation and advancement of women in its organization. Women technology professionals are employed at various levels.
